This is a Diplodocus, notice its head. Because its so small in comparison to its body scientists did not believe the skull belonged to this particular Dino.
My favorite! Juvinelle T-Rexes
As you walked into the museum there was a small glass exhibit
We then headed to the Phipps conservatory where Dale chihuly art glass among other glass artists were on display among the plants.
Nice recap of our day! I was very surprised too at both Carnegie and Phipps today at how they showcased glass. When you think about it, this is appropriate because of how prevalent glass is in our every day lives and the value we place upon it as art!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures to explain the trip, really the only way to give this trip justice.
ReplyDeleteI assume you will be adding a video.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I really liked the vase that appeared to change color based on the angle of view and the way light strikes the glass.
It was very impressive to see how the glass added to the landscapes in the conservatory. Some beautiful, some whimsical, all incredibly unique.
